If you are a member of a band at a tower then it is easier if your subscription is passed on by the tower secretary.  They should then be given to the district secretaries (or the district treasurers, where the responsibility has been devolved to a different officer). Stephen Jakeman, Bell Restoration Officer reports: The work in the last week of January paid off handsomely with the bells positioned in the church for the blessing  by the Bishop of London during the morning service on Sunday 2nd February. St Michael's, Wood Green, has completed major repairs to the spire.  The bells were removed in 2012 and kept in storage at the Whitechapel foundry for over a year, but have now been re-hung.  The tower is not yet available for ringing.  See tower page for more details and contacts. … [Read more...]

The Autumn General Meeting  of the Association was held at St Mary’s Kilburn on Saturday 12th October. General ringing at this new ring of 6 bells followed a striking competition on the back-6 at St   Augustine’s Kilburn, judged by Matthew and Heather Rayner from West Ham. Monica Blagrove, a ringer at Windsor (St John) and, until recently, at Windsor (H. M.
